If yes, then you probably have heard about a step called ‘nostrification’ – a step you must go through in order to submit your application documents successfuly to the university of interest. ‘Nostrification’ means that your high school grades will be converted into the Bulgarian grading system – the end result is a certificate by the Ministry of Education in Bulgaria.
Of course, in order to initiate this step, you will have to submit several documents in person to the Regional Department of Education. This process can take up to a month, so be careful not to miss the university deadlines!
